Your files

You keep all rights to the images you convert and the files Makerfern produces. We receive no license to them, because we never receive them. Only convert images you have the right to use.

The service

Makerfern is provided as is. The cut report describes what the engine measured; it is not a guarantee that a file will cut, weed or engrave correctly on your machine and material. Always test cut. We are not liable for materials, blades or time lost to a file.

Pro licenses

A license key is for the purchaser's own use, on their own browsers. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically until cancelled and stay active to the end of the paid period. Lifetime licenses include Pro features for as long as Makerfern operates. If Pro doesn't work for your files, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment. Pro bought on this site is paid through Whop, whose own terms apply to the payment; the account page's Manage billing button opens your order there.

Optional accounts

No tool needs an account. Accounts are for people 16 and over, one per person: keep your password and the codes you make for your other devices to yourself. A Pro license linked to an account works on every device you sign in on; a license can be linked to one account at a time, and a key that another account holds is moved only by us, on request. Saved workflows are part of Pro: they are kept while you have Pro, and stay readable and exportable if it ends. We may close an account used to abuse the service. You can download your data and delete your account at any time from the dashboard; your license keys keep working on their own.

Partner programme

Anyone with a Makerfern account can become a partner, on the dashboard under Partner, by accepting these terms, joining Makerfern's affiliate offer on Whop and giving their Whop username. Whop runs the affiliate side: its own terms apply to it, and it tracks, credits and pays every commission.

  • You earn 30% of every Monthly and Yearly payment made through your link, for as long as the buyer stays subscribed (50% if you have Pro yourself). Lifetime earns no commission.
  • A commission reaches your Whop balance 30 days after the payment. A refund or a chargeback takes it back.
  • Say it is an affiliate link wherever you post it, for example "I earn a commission if you buy Pro through my link".
  • No spam, no paid ads on the Makerfern name or on misspellings of it, and no buying through your own link.

We may pause or end a partner's link if these terms are broken or the link is used to mislead people; commissions Whop already paid stay with Whop's rules. You can leave at any time on the same page. If we change these terms, the Partner page asks you to accept the new ones.

Acceptable use

Don't share license keys publicly, resell access, or try to interfere with the license service.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Material changes that affect paid plans will be emailed to license holders.
